There are only two arguments:

1. I'm not illegal.
2. I'm seeking asylum.

Anything else is ridiculous and a waste of time.

Due process means you get to speak to a law enforcement official before you go and you don't make one of those two arguments.

This is kind of like Biden's not enforcing the border and mutilating and drugging children because they are confused about gender.
You just wonder where those people left their common sense.

I don't know what Lankford is talking about, but if its not one of those two items, there's nothing that needs to be done.

This issue is being ignored in the bigger threads on the same topic.

Seems it's not as cut and dried for everyone in politics as some would have you believe. Lots of pushback on Lankford.
