What "dem" is blaming only trump for the price of eggs? That's really not a thing. And more importantly, THERE IS NO ******* DECLINE! 01-wingedeagle

Eggs increased again in March over February.

Who want's to tell the quoted doofus that the RETAIL price numbers aren't released every week like the WHOLESALE prices?

We won't have the April numbers until mid-May.

It is a good thing when wholesale prices decline because eventually retail prices will follow. Trump’s February 2025 plan will tend to lower short and long term prices through allowing imports (not sure if impacted by tariffs) regulatory reform, and focus on vaccines instead of mass killings.

The Dem’s see the writing on the wall which is why they no longer harp about high egg prices.

Its crazy right - wholesale egg prices "jumped" from the low Feb Rice of about $7.31 on Feb 7th all the way up to the high in March of $8.18 on March 5th. I think most would agree that an 80 cent increase is a big number just a sliver below 12%.

Weird though that before the end of March (the 27th) that cost dropped to $2.88 - so in 20 days AND leading into the high demand month of April - prices dropped 64.7% and have been pretty stable since - even in HIGH DEMAND April.

ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY TRUMP!

We must find better ways to prevent and mitigate avian flu than killing millions upon millions of chickens. I sometimes question if Dem’s really want to solve problems because a crisis should never go to waste in promoting their radical agenda.

We already did. As soon as Trump's new ag secretary was sworn in, they came up with a plan and that caused wholesale prices to immediately tank. Retail prices lag a few weeks behind wholesale.

The farmers, following best practices, kill the chickens. It doesn't have a ******* thing to do with democrats. And most farmers are likely conservative and Republican.

Right...I do remember seeing that photo of Biden culling them. And I also heard that chickens were never culled for bird flu until Biden took office. My bad.

Biden* culled nearly 20% of the egg laying chickens in the US between election day an the Biden* family pardon day.

Dont worry, Trump fixed it.

Between March and April, the wholesale prices drop more than ever in history. Its how Trump rolls.

Silly Tom, you didn’t see the video of Biden personally culling the millions of chickens, while shouting “Death to America!” in between instances of taking our Lord’s name in vain?

Just ridiculous.

Go ask the FFA, farmers, and the chicken industry why they culled the chickens. They won't say Biden.

They needlessly killed chickens probably for environmental reasons. Filth use regs in a punative manner

Joe fricked it up.
Trump fixed it.

Gas prices dropping too.

Just say Thank you.
