We've had this Saturday circled on the calendar since the schedule came out. Unfortunately, our performance in close games has not been where we hoped it would be. Preseason 1 v 2 at College Park Center.

Hopefully, Widom Gym bites again.

Cats have definitely hit a stride right now and are in their game. They are playing strong defense and getting their POTs with quick transitions and making their shots with their confidence being up. SU struggled with TOs and fouls both all night. They didn't get to the FT line like last game. ACU beats Seattle at home 75-59 for 3 straight wins. Now they get a quick break before next week.

Seattle seemed completely overmatched in the men's game except for number 12 who played a decent game. Coach Tanner called off the offense with lots of time left. But the girls did even better, beating Seattle 84 to 62 in an away game. Coach Goodenough called off the girls as well. I wanted Mayes to get another double-double. But she came up short by one in rebounds. If Peyton Hull had not broken her wrist, these girls might be very, very strong, even without Bella Earle, who was also out tonight.

Good job against the evil empire Texans. Given the issues facing your team and the disparities between the two programs, that's a heckuva score.
