Got bad news for all you old Casanovas on here - young girls are more flirty with old guys because they think it’s cute and see you as harmless. No different than when you used to drop a few nice words on a grandma when you were 30.

Well, there is such a thing as younger women looking for an older guy with some cash in the bank, they can will themselves to fall in “love” with that.
But, pretty sure you gotta be swimming in the solid 8 figures pool or better for that to happen.

Read an article on that couple years ago, so it has to be true.

Speaking of "Penn's Woods" (that's what Pennsylvania is purported to mean), there's a town in the Keystone State called -- get this -- Intercourse. I didn't know that until I had met a couple people from there. Yes, we became friends, though I haven't talked to them in a while.

Don't forget "Blue Ball" or "Big Beaver". Pennsylvania has some funny town names. Intercourse is actually in Amish country. Go figure.

Beaver Falls is up there, too. lol (I don't know about anybody else, but I at least found that funny.)

I was reading a study of women who didn’t have kids but that was not intended according to them. 80% of the women are/ were (deceased) in support groups.

They didn’t marry and end up in old folks homes. When they die less than 5 people on average attend their funerals. Some have none

Until then I had pretty much lived my life as a quest to see how many women I could bed. I'll tell you what boys, I'm now 68 1/2 and I've been celibate for the past 3 years and I don't miss it. The last time my then g/f, now wife, had sex we both almost ended up in traction. I am so much more comfortable just knowing that this woman who it took almost an entire lifetime to find is my true soulmate and our relationship is built on something other than mere lust.

Having said that it's so very ironic that it turned out this way because the first time we got together 11 years ago it was just supposed to be a casual hookup. In fact we discussed that neither of us were looking for anything other than casual sex. It's funny that we ended up this way because I have been sexually active since I was 14 and have seriously lost count of how many women I've been with while she on the other hand was in a very bad relationship and after her divorce she went nuts with her sexual encounters. We both knew this about each other and considered it a plus for a casual fling.

I no longer care about sex as what we have transcends the physical. I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd be saying that. I thank God every day that he brought this amazing woman into my life, especially after the sinful life I've lived. I have no doubt at all in my mind that I'll die with her.

Oh, and the last few months have aged me 10 years so that I now actually look my age. Until I started my radiation treatments I was still buff for a 68 year old. I managed to maintain much of my muscle mass from my extreme gym rat days in my 50's and early 60's and had often been told that I could pass for someone 10 years younger. Great genes I reckon. But there are no 30 year old women giving me the eye any more and I am just fine with that.

Radiation can take it out of you. I went 28 straight days. It burned so bad just to have a bowel movement.

Followed up by surgery removal of some intestines definitely changes your lifestyle from before.

I have more 20-25 year old women hit on me and stare at me than any time in my life the last couple of years, even when I was that age and imo far better looking than I am now. Literally more than any other period of my life. I was a fairly attractive young man but now I'm 50 with a bald spot and a belly.

But the last few years it seems like most times I go out in public now I catch young women locking eyes on me for long periods or openly trying to talk or flirt with me. Some of my friends of the same age tell me they've also had an uptick in attention from young women the last few years.

IMO I think its because guys our age have a more masculine look about us and how we carry ourselves compared to the very feminized younger men of their age group (they are still naturally attracted to masculinity), and many of them just have daddy issues and gravitate to older men like us.

I've not been dating or going out with any of them, though its getting more and more tempting lol.

Just wondering is anyone else noticing an increase of attention from girls that are young enough for you to be their dad?

I realize a decent percentage of the board are 65 or older, but for the slightly younger "old" guys here I wonder is anyone else experiencing this recently?

That hasn't happened with me...yet. I hope it never does either. I ain't looking to rob the cradle, if you get what I mean. (Of course, I'm 42 and have quite a bit of hair left on the top of my head, though it's starting to get pretty thin. That said, I also have a belly. I wish I didn't, but I wasn't as active as I should've been when I was in my late 20's and 30's.)

I can't see myself going out with a woman under 30.

And I'm a born again Christian so I would absolutely not be engaging in hook up culture.

Yes, it happens. I am in my mid-50s. I attended a party last summer where most women were in their late 20s. I took a home tour, ate some dip, and left. They are too young for me.

Our young men need some mentoring, and these women deserve husbands. -Just not me.

all those years have taken their toll on nuts zongo ... regardless, I ain' no biatch and had a blast while I could!

yeah, Eric, it's not abnormal if one has just a smattering of chops and some cashe ... oh, yeah, that geetar doesn't hurt either ... toss in you're kinda pretty, and they're yours for the choosing if'n ya wanna go the groupie route...

enjoy it at your pleasure/convenience ... I know I did...

My experience in the real world the more physically attractive you are, the more liberal you are. I'm not sure where the meme came from the physically unattractive are liberal, the physically attractive are conservative, but it tends to be the opposite in the real world
