Do you realize that the agencies in question are all in the Executive Branch? You sure as hell can.

Who created the Space Force without Congress? Uh, Trump did. You don't think he can un-create it without Congress?

Quote:Presidential reorganization authority is a term used to refer to a major statutory power that has sometimes been temporarily extended by the United States Congress to the President of the United States. It permits the president to divide, consolidate, abolish, or create agencies of the U.S. federal government by presidential directive, subject to limited legislative oversight.[1] First granted in 1932, presidential reorganization authority has been extended to nine presidents on 16 separate occasions. As of 2024, it was most recently granted to Ronald Reagan.

Presidential reorganization authority is designed to allow periodic refinement of the organizational efficiency of the government through significant and sweeping modifications to its architecture that might otherwise be too substantial to realistically implement through a parliamentary process.

Background
Overview
The customary method by which agencies of the United States government are created, abolished, consolidated, or divided is through an act of Congress.[2] The presidential reorganization authority essentially delegates these powers to the president for a defined period of time, permitting the President to take those actions by decree.[3] A method of limited oversight has generally been included in past cases of presidential reorganization authority; usually, reorganization plans issued pursuant to the authority can be nullified by an act of Congress during a fixed window of time following promulgation of the orders.[3] In other words, should Congress take no action in response to an reorganization plan issued under the authority, then the plan becomes law. This is different from the normal process of lawmaking in which laws take effect with congressional action, not in the absence of action, and has been colloquially called the "legislative veto".[4][5]

During World War II, special reorganization authority was granted to Franklin Roosevelt. However, these powers differed from what is generally considered to be presidential reorganization authority as all structural changes undertaken were to revert following the conclusion of the war.[3]

Purpose
Presidential reorganization authority is designed to allow periodic refinement of the organizational efficiency of the government through significant and sweeping modifications to its architecture that might otherwise be too substantial to realistically implement through a parliamentary process.[4][6]

And if that doesn't work, guess how you CAN do it? Through legislation. Guess who has control of both houses?

Recent Supreme Court rulings restores tremendous power back to the Presidency within executive branch where he can finally wrest control over the unauthorized 4th Branch of the government. A President by all intent and purposes can allow a agency to wither and die by various maneuvers within his power

He can deconstruct a lot, but to make it ALL permanent, he will need some help from Congress, so it needs to get done by the end of 2026.

But he can do plenty of damage without them.

Quite a while ago, I came across a truly alarming statistic: the Federal Government owned over 500,000 office buildings (it's probably a lot more now). To release a substantial amount of that space back to the private market and remove the ownership/maintenance and related expenses of it would be a true blessing, as well as a financial windfall for the government to use to reduce the US debt! And, if 30-40 Million illegals are deported over the next four years, many of those agencies would be shrunk so much that they'd easily be able to vacate and downsize their own staffs, saving the taxpayers tremendous amounts of money and leading to lower taxes for all Citizens!

I just heard some more details about the plan from a Fed gov insider on Watters show tonight. She says Elon and Vivek intend to identify some top management personnel to permanently install inside the departments that survive, so the departments can't rebound back to their old ways after the cuts are made.

They are calling them the "DOGE Elves," lol. The process of identifying and hiring these people has already started.

I found a video of the segment on Fox about the details of how this would happen. Assuming I listened correctly, American Majority CEO Ned Ryun told Laura Ingraham that theoretically, Trump could fire say 200,000 civil service workers the first day, up to GS13 or GS14 level (I forget which, exactly)

GS15s (and maybe GS14s) cannot immediately be fired, but they can be sent to an empty building with an empty desk, and told to sit there 8 hours a day, away from their departments, so they don't sabotage the effort.

As soon as the firings start, the unions will file lawsuits to stop it, and then it will go through the courts, and eventually end up in the Supreme Court, where they will decide if the President has the authority to do all this, or if the workers are somehow protected by any previous statutes or agreements.

Ryun feels confident that the current court would rule in Trump's favor, because all these departments reside in the Executive branch, and the President is the head of that branch.

It would take maybe 18 months to wind its way through the legal system to the Supreme Court, and then it would take maybe another two years to eliminate the designated workers, sell buildings, and move some workers who survive to other locations in the country, as some surviving departments may be relocated out of DC.
