Libs are the people who think that it takes 5 IRS agents to review a $600 transaction using PayPal but nobody should investigate how a Senator making 6 figures becomes a multi millionaire within a few years.

The agencies are bloated with people justifying a job.. Cut the BS and cut the fat.

I am excited by the possibility of making real, lasting change that benefits our wonderful country by unleashing the potential of all Americans who are currently held back by red tape and leftist dogma.

If I were younger, I would definitely apply for DOGE employment. It is the perfect job for me, given my temperament, training, and education.

Horses ass gonna be looking for a job? Or filing unemployment?

Gonna be a lot of moaning and groaning going on in all these ‘home offices’.

I wonder what a government teet sucker’s resume will look like.

Art of the deal. Always ask for WAY more than what you think you can actually get.

Yeah. Probably.

My other thought, is can you just cut the pay on many of these government jobs to the level that many resign?

I hope Vivek and Musk have someone standing by because they've just put a target on their back, they won't be too popular with the suck on the teat Democrats. I know they have body guards but still. The President has body guards and look what almost happened.

From what i read, he can if there are no laws written SPECIFICALLY for the that department to enforce.

If there's one law written that says it is enacted by the "Department of... ", he has to get Congressional approval (or the law rewritten).

However,., the president sets the budget for all those departments, which means he can slash that budget to ZERO to basically make it worthless.

No. Congress appropriates the money and sets the budgets.

P.S. "Gone" means just what it says. Outta here. No longer exists. All the locations shuttered. All the buildings sold.

Excessive, but some of this needs to happen.

This shows the future clashes in the Trump administration.

You have extreme Libertarians like Vivek and Musk who want to eliminate government. Then you have nanny stater RFK Jr. who wants to increase regulations.

Quite a while ago, I came across a truly alarming statistic: the Federal Government owned over 500,000 office buildings (it's probably a lot more now). To release a substantial amount of that space back to the private market and remove the ownership/maintenance and related expenses of it would be a true blessing, as well as a financial windfall for the government to use to reduce the US debt! And, if 30-40 Million illegals are deported over the next four years, many of those agencies would be shrunk so much that they'd easily be able to vacate and downsize their own staffs, saving the taxpayers tremendous amounts of money and leading to lower taxes for all Citizens!

Less Government equals More Freedom, provided that Personal Responsibility is expected.

you do know that DOGE "jobs" are completely voluntary positions? If you're looking to make money, the private sector is the way, not DOGE.

I'm pretty sure you have to pay all your own travel, lodging and meal expenses, as well.
