She will have to wait 4 years to do so because I believe the SC has ruled on this. Maybe I'm not remembering it correctly but I dont believe the SC did not make a distinction between federal or state charges when it comes to the President facing charges while in office.

I think by law he has to file a report with his findings before he leaves. Probably trying to get that out of the way before Trump takes office and fires him.

I’m not opposed in principle. But just politically I’d only recommend it as a last resort. Since all the federal charges are going to get thrown in the trash anyway…

By law he should not be in that position. That’s what the Supreme Court implied.

Yeah, it will be resolved in his favor sooner or later. My only point was to rebut the comment somebody made that he could pardon himself in that case.
