This offense needs an identity. I would tell them that Nolley is out first option, Lahkin second and we'll run plays to for you other guys to keep the D off balance.

This. Relying on the inconsistency of trey ball to win games in lieu of running a half court with designed plays and driving to the bucket and either score or dish is just a head scratcher. Memphis didn't shoot much better from treyland but they took less attempts from beyond the arc. They attacked more in the paint and with a smaller lineup no less. That helps you have a more balanced attack, put fouls on the other guys and get to the charity stripe. Wow, what a concept! FWIW, we have one of the better free throw shooting teams at UC in a long, long time.

They are absolutely running sets that are designed to do more than just to get someone a 3. The offense has come a long way since last season, in my opinion.

Lakhin is our only inside presence and he took 14 shots. MAW, DDJ, and Skillings went 3-12 on 2-pointers. Oguama missed a wide open bunny that would have cut it to 5 late. We were broke from 3 until a spurt in the second half. It doesn't really seem like a strategy or tactics issue to me?
