That’s his point. We’re so bad that we actually miss those 3 players

The truth is we only have one go-to player who plays at a consistently very high D1 level. Williams is our second best player but has problems containing his emotions at times. The rest are pretty good at times but are overall just decent D1-level players. With better coaching they could play better as a team but Penny is only an average (but improving) D1 coach at this point. On Temple’s last possession of the game, leaving their best 3 pt shooter wide open while doubling their inside man (and leading by only 3) shows an incredible lack of situational awareness by our team.
