I would love to see Gino go prove himself at a MAC-type school for several years, and then come back to UC on the next go around of the carousel.

That would be a mature approach to managing his career and I'd like to think he considers that. For some reason, I feel we're going to know quickly--one to two seasons, if CSS is able to rise to the task. Gino contending in the MAC for a couple of years might prove very helpful if he's open to returning with head coaching experience and success.
