Just find the next guy that gets them to next level. I still don’t feel this is the worst time to make a change. UC is going to take some beatings next season even if Luke was the coach. I was more concerned if left after a few mediocre Big XII seasons and this job had no juice left.

It’s going to a difficult two years but if UC finds the right guy. They will be in position to win in year 3.

I am not sure if Luke and his staff had stayed UC would be in position to win at the power conference level. There were a lot of issues on offense that were masked by just having more talent than the majority of the AAC. You need to be put up 30 to 40 points to be competitive in that league. You need to be aggressive on both sides of the ball. Think UC 2009 not UC 2022.
