Has it ever phased you that if a team ever could successfully "cheat" a poll like you described, the selection committee simply just wouldn't select them despite a high NET? If I'm not mistaking there's always that one bubble team a year complaining about having a high computer ranking and not making the tournament. Ever wonder why? Well now you have a possible answer. Formulas are not perfect. They don't account for everything, including cheating. So why even try?

You really have nothing and it's actually becoming a bit silly.

Obviously the NET (or any poll for that matter) is not more important than the human eye test. If any team is a head scratcher with a relatively high NET, you better believe they are going to go back and put human eyes on every single game to find out who is actually more deserving, rather than have faith in a formula. Nothing beats the polls for a good indication of the human eye test. I know you as a cheater do not like hearing that, but it's simply the truth.
