I disagree. Scheme is very important. I believe CC has had the talent to win this “average “ coaching league. For example, after Neathery/Creighton switched up the defensive scheme our defense got a lot better. Certainly a player like Crosby can overcome poor schemes but look what a mid year defensive scheme change meant to the success of the team. Creighton has the players :-)
