Are we ignoring China? I would suggest to you that Ukraine is as much about China as it is about Ukraine. I suspect China is watching what happens in Ukraine very very closely.

If the world is rallying around Ukraine, China has to wonder if the same will happen to Taiwan and if it will be worth it

I don't see the world rallying around Ukraine. I see the world hoping they can buy their way out of getting involved.

Sure “the world” is sanctioning Russia over Ukraine. Just look at the map.

“The world” indeed lol. If there is one country in that sanctioning group that isn’t the host of US military/intelligence, I can’t spot it. Funny how that works.

When this special military operation is over and whatever happens to Ukraine is over, I’m anxious to see the next neighbor of Russia sign on with the US bully Russia agenda. I’m guessing they will look at Ukraine and think it may not be such a good idea. Russia has been bullied by the West for 30 years and that era is now over. Officially.

I doubt the west has another foreign policy move, because they have relied on pushing countries around with sanctions, starving them, denying them trade opportunities, isolating them and thru coups. Now that Russiabhas out it’s foot down and the west has shown their hand to be a loser, it isn’t going to be easy any more.

As soon as someone stands up to a bully, it gives others more confidence. And having Russia as an ally will give a lot of countries options beyond just taking being pushed around by the West.
