Hard question to answer mid year and other grads and portal transfers all are in play and we don't know all those answers.

That is a really hard question to answer indeed. The portal has changed everything. Mel Tucker did a fabulous job with it in year one, then fizzled out. Dabo Swinney has rejected it outright, his results have been terrible.

My opinion? The portal has tilted college sports more to the pro model and procuring the "right" talent is more important than actual coaching. Creighton needs to create a position on his staff comparable to the GM of an NFL team, someone who monitors the portal, evaluates talent and looks at holes in our roster. EMU does not need any HS blockbuster recruits, they will migrate elsewhere if they are immediate successes. It is similar to the NFL salary cap, (Where they search for bargain salaries) find the best guys that will be happy to play at EMU.
