I have asked two different mods to promote this thread over a month ago.
I was talking with a 2024 4-star out of Creekside HS in Fairburn, GA who plays IOL
He really likes Eastern
He loves that we trying to get not just him but a bunch of others on his team
The brotherhood is awesome
We already have 2 from Creekside this year
Definitely more to come

I just talked to Caleb again and I am willing to say that he is a lock
He didn't say exactly yes or no but the way he sounded, I am positive Eastern will be his next Home
There is a lot of time between now and December but right now Eastern is likely to land him
He would be our biggest recruit ever
Other than us he has offers from Oklahoma, LSU, Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, Auburn, Maryland, Liberty, and others

Edified, you're insight is awesome to read. Not sure your role with the program (no need to share it) but it is appreciated. Whoever is recruiting Georgia for us is killing it. Is this Caleb guy a DL? a 4 star could mean an immediate impact guy. this is great news

Caleb is a guard and yes this guy is an immediate IMPACT player
The biggest reason we are recruiting Creekside HS so well is actually the players we already got from there.
Specifically, Malik Tullis. He was the reason we were able to get Daiquin White. And is going to be the reason we get, by my count, 3 players in 2024.
We only got Malik because of Vontrell King-Williams who is really the reason we have gotten so many good defensive players. He has made his presence known in our program and honestly, would be one of the worst losses we could have assistant-wise.

He is talking about Caleb Holmes 6'3 285. I am not sure the recruiting services show is offering him yet.

Scouts and coaches that I have talked to say to use on3 for group of 5 and 247 for power 5
It shows we have offered him on on3
And that we are the front runner

Does anyone know what EMU does for Junior day? Sounds like it was a success on Twitter, but I'm just curious as to what goes on.

Remember, these 'offers' are like a job interview, an statement of interest, BUT nothing more.

They are not 'offers' the way we are taught to think of a job offer.
Wouldn’t it be something if Coach Creighton secures back to back recruiting titles. The MAC wouldn’t know how to handle this feat…..let’s go Coach Creighton!
Something I find interesting is how the message to recruits changes as CC and players have changed the culture and perception of the program. I don't think coaches need to sell on the idea of changing and turning a program around. That part is done. I would assume the message shifts to this being a family oriented program that players can come to and earn a chance at a championship and personally end up in a post collegiate league.

Don't undersell the solid academic reputation. You will get a solid degree here and graduate.

New to the board, but I’m here for MAC football talk and you can find me often posting on ZipsNation. I have a MAC recruiting thread going there that comprises the 2023 classes.

In regards to which coaches and scouts use which services, colleges will often pay Rivals for their national camp film.

247 and ON3 are more liberal in their ratings, meaning far more players will be rated 3 stars. It’s a good business move as it gets more eyes on their product. ON3 is the new kid on the block and has about 50 team sites, which they tend to curtail their ratings to.

Rivals will have the most up-to-date information on individual MAC recruiting. The downside is very few MAC schools have team websites on Rivals.

Here is Caleb Holmes profile. Let me know if any others need updating.
