I don’t think the transfers are part of today’s events, I didn’t notice other schools reporting them either.

I was mistaken, from what I gather by looking around, only PROSPECTIVE student-athletes at a four-year institution sign letters of intent. It is for high school and JUCO players. So, I assume that when a transfer is recruited, he/she just enrolls at that school and is placed on scholarship? To not have to sit out a year, though, the athlete must enter the portal during the allowed periods of time.

Also, a new twist is kids committing out of the portal will have their scholarships guaranteed until they graduate/transfer, so the coaches really have to do their due diligence.
