RE: Kent State vs. Akron -MAC Final
Senderoff , from Alan Moff article R/C

“We had a player on our roster (Johnson) who did something really dumb. Really dumb. In our pregame talk I called it asinine,” said Senderoff. “We’re in the locker room celebrating. Under no circumstances should that (video) have gotten on to Snapchat. Whoever got it, you got what you wanted. My issue is, to assassinate this person’s character here (Jacobs), I'm not going to let that happen. I’m not letting that be the narrative.

“I’m going to talk about (Jacobs) for a second. A year ago his grandma, who raised him, had a stroke. His closest mentor, (KSU assistant coach Brian Barnes), passed away. Damn near everyone he knows has been killed or is in prison. He wasn’t recruited by anyone. He went to a prep school. He went to one junior college, went to another junior college, then came to Kent. After this semester he’s three credits away from graduating from college. He will be the first member of his family (to graduate from college) when that day happens
