Exactly. All are good at football & basketball, and they each fit a specific geographic niche in the East (FAU & Marshall) and West (LA Tech and UAB) AAC, without penetrating any existing AAC members patch.

I've been reading this board for DAYS, wondering when somebody would get a clue and figure this out, and quit listening to a dumbazz sportswriter like Matt Brown. Congrats Ragu!

By the way, if for some reason Marshall decides to NOT join the AAC (because they do have options), I think the AAC should approach ARMY about that 12th spot. Yes, I know Army left CUSA 1.0 way back in the day because they had trouble being competitive. But things are different now. The AAC 2.0 will be much easier for Army to compete in, AND it already has Navy as a member!! Just imagine the annual ARMY vs NAVY game being an AAC 2.0 conference game. WOW!

I wish I was as confident as you in the options Marshall has. I'm just as worried that Marshall gets left out on an island ourselves.
