That's not how it works son. I am absolutely sure it would take 75% of the conference members to vote to dissolve the conference. So that's at least 10 members that would be needed to vote for this.

Those schools can lawsuit all they want, bylaws are bylaws which were agreed upon by all member institutions of CUSA. You're gonna pay something to exit the conference, simple as that!

You missed it. Those schools wont have to "lawsuit" as you say. CUSA will, if they want to collect. If there is a fee at all, it will be minimal. Once again, good luck.
