If that's what you want to believe. The Sun Belt board has multiple people from at least 4 schools who are connected to Athletic Departments either through media or are direct employees.

It's your choice not to listen if you don't want to but they are generally correct. Three such examples is one posters knowledge of App, Georgia Southern, and Coastal receiving invites to the Sun Belt before news broke anywhere else, but a solid amount of time.

Those same posters are still here and still in their same positions. One of them happens to be the person who started this thread. Some are donors, some have access to people, some know people who know people or know the people themselves. Far more connections here on this board than anywhere else on this entire website.

So you can take it to the bank that WKU, Marshall, and USM have been in contact with the SBC. The other three to reach out are not publicly known.

And, literally, every one of them had said things that either did not work out or look unlikely.

I can not take a single thing to the bank here.

PS I do think USM being in touch with SBC is most likely true. USM has struggled in C-USA. They're not good enough to compete in our league. They deserve to get a clean slate

USM since 2013: 0 conference titles, 1 division title. win-loss record: 45-58.

4-11 in the last 15 games.

That's pretty bad and no need to artificially invent arbitrary time periods to make your school look better.

He says after inventing two arbitrary time periods.
