That is a dramatic understatement of his skills. Alo can be a very effective PG when he plays his role and within himself which he started doing at the end of last year. Alo's problems come about when he tries to transform into Chris Paul or Russell Westbrook and starts playing out of control for his ability.

Alo can be very effective when he is focused on breaking down defenses and setting up others and then taking shots when they allow instead of trying to get his shots and then look for others.

you said that perfectly. I don't know if some folks are thinking of the ALO before midyear. I thought he was our most effective player there for a stretch before he got hurt.

He played well. But DeAndre was it best player.

Think of it this way. If DeAndre goes down instead of Alo do you think we continue to be successful

Not as successful, but with both of them on the floor we beat Houston twice.

We played our best ball at the end of the season without Lomax. We lost 2 extremely close games to Houston and won the NIT. Lomax is a solid player but he’s not a difference maker. IMO he’s a backup PG who should get 12-15 minutes a game. If he’s starting for us it says more about our talent at the position than him.
