It was the craziest thing. You see front tires getting ripped off because they take 30 seconds. You never see the entire rear tire and derailleur taken. Whoever did this, for sure needed a few minutes at least. It would have been much faster to cut the lock and take the entire bicycle. We have curfew here at 8pm; usually I take my bicycle inside, but I was lazy.

Thats nuts.. yeah unfortunately where I live we have a bunch of growing homeless encampments that steal bikes and swap parts - so I only bike to places with outdoor patios now. Leave a bike alone for more than an hour is basically a guaranteed part theft

Never leave your bike outside.....clean it up...put a "Service Bike" tag on it....I take my baby inside everywhere....I tell them it's my significant other 05-nono
