RE: Memphis’ Moussa Cisse Declares For The NBA Draft
IMO Wilt was the best big man ever to hit the court. I mean that with all due respect to Kareem, Russell, Olajuwon (maybe one of my favorite non-Tigers ever) or any other great big man to play the game including Shaq. He owns NBA records that will never even be approached again. Never.

IMO While the his yearly PPG, RPG, the fact he NEVER fouled out of a game or the 100 point game are all remarkable. His durability was unreal. This guy holds the record for averaging 45.8 minutes played per game for his 15 year CAREER. In 1961-62 he averaged 48.53 minutes per game. Let that sink in for a minute, as he missed a grand total of 8 minutes 33 seconds in 80 games including 7 OTs that season. His final season, at age 36, he played 43.2 minutes per game in 82 games.

As far as games played, aside from 1969-70 when he missed 70 games with a major knee injury, he missed a total of 28 games in his 14 other seasons.
