I don’t know how the young man feels about his education right now, or if he is interested in getting to a money-making position in the league for his family. But I can see him taking the direct route if it is laid out like I stated.

I looked at 7 mock drafts. The only time he was even mentioned and that was a maybe second round was in 2023 or 2024. It is good to check out options, get feedback, know what needs to improve. Nothing risked. With Sam coming in next year he would have daily practice Moussa would be going against a 7' 260 man-child who at least in one high school game this year hit 6 3 pointers. They would not be on the floor at the same time but man, how many times through the years have we gotten our butts kicked by the physicality of a true big man? Moussa got pushed around this year and his game was limited in multiple ways.

That is one way of looking at it. The way I see it, he is going to improve, get much bigger and stronger, and he will be the same age as other college freshmen. It will suck for us if we end up helping him get his feet wet, and he goes on to dominate somewhere else. That is definitely a possibility.
