We lost him to Texas in 2015 despite a 5million a year offer from Houston.. 3x higher than any G5 in history.. Herman publicly swore he was here in houston to stay, and everyone noted he loved Houston and turned down major job offers the year before

Funny aside is how similar Tom Herman and fickells g5 career have been who were OC and DC for the same national title team

You lost him to Texas. Texas was his OSU. He went to school there. Most of his coaching ties pre-Urban were in Texas.

As I said. If OSU or ND open up I'd be very worried.


Yep hard to imagine a midwestern family of like 8 uprooting and moving to LA.

Like you said if nd or osu open, he is gone.

Also the x-factor in all this is… the big 12. Houston couldn’t offer that back then now fickell sees the p5 on the horizon. And honestly, pac 12 football ain’t going to be better than the new big 12.
