UC is either going to have to find something to hang their hat on or pay him his $5M to go softly into that good night. UC's AD came out and publicly said they are investigating him for claims made by players. If the AD comes back and says they have found nothing and Brannen is the guy JB is not going to be able to recruit... the fact there was an investigation will be used by every coach as way of negatively recruiting UC. Moreover, the entire fan base believes the guy should be gone. They won't be able to sell a ticket going forward with the exception of his extended friends and family in Greater Cincinnati.

Sounds like us with Tubby, except for the investigation part. The fan base gave up on him and literally walked out, with attendance dropping to Covid levels. Before Covid, lol.

I remember people here saying we shouldn't fire Tubby after 2 years, give him more time, etc. Nope. When 16K+ stop attending your games, and nobody is renewing their season tickets, and donations dry up, and the head coach tells us we need to lower our expectations, then he has to go, 2 years or 20 years.

Same with Brennan.
