Is there any chance that SFA or Central Arkansas would follow Lamar's example?

Based on what Dr. Teague, UCA's AD said in 2021 when all of this started going down they were planning on being part of the originally discussed ASUN 6 (I assume the 6th backed out) that would go FBS.

How long can the WAC-ASUN agreement go on if neither conference can attract 6 football playing schools, and schools keep dropping out? Will the rules change? Will they remain FCS? Will the conferences go back to being non-football conferences? What will happen to the remaining football teams?
The WAC will have 7 teams once Tarleton State and Utah Tech complete their transition and UTRGV starts their football program.

The WAC had sought a waiver for 2022-23 when they will have 7 teams (including two transitioning). This was turned down at a May 12, 2022 meeting of the Football Oversight Committee. At that time they said they would defer action on an 11th AQ. At the May 26 meeting they approved an AQ for the ASUN based on 10 teams.

The WAC and ASUN initiated a new agreement after the WAC was turned down. They might come up with a different agreement for 2023.
