The rumor I have seen from a Southeastern Louisiana board is that Lamar is potentially returning. Same post had the rumor of SEMO and Tennessee St joining the Southland as well.

I certainly hope not! That would be a mistake as bad as leaving the Sun Belt to go back to the SLC in 1998; maybe worse. I like the remaining SLC schools, but I think the move to the WAC was a good one.

I would be extremely disappointed if Lamar made the move back, especially if LU were the only one.
