The better basketball schools in Southland are gone; their ability to play schools that benefit their recruitment of students are gone and they definitely do not want to be in a league tilting towards Louisiana

Certainly if a combination of LR and Arlington were heading that way, may give them pause but there’s some serious bridges to cross and if this happened, the SLC priority of football first would have a different look
