I bet Arkansas Tech is in talks. The future of GAC is on shakey grounds right now.

This ought to be good. Show a source that says Arkansas Tech is in talks. Why exactly is the GAC on shaky ground.

If the Oklahoma lawmakers get their way? All D2 Oklahoma schools will be forced to join the all Oklahoma conference. That would leave GAC down to 6 schools. Only Arkansas Tech and Harding is in a better position to move up. Same with UAFS.
It's really Oklahoma lawmakeR, not lawmakerS. Multiple people close to the GAC have told me they're not worried about it and don't expect this to go anywhere.

The lawmaker brought it up again this year using the pandemic as an excuse which he got a couple of others on board this time. This is not from an article from 2 years ago, but most recently. NW Oklahoma State is best better served if they were in the RMAC instead of GAC.
