Working with the OVC is a great idea to survive if needbe since both are on or near the brink

If push came to shove the Southland could sponsor football and the OVC could sponsor soccer.

This would allow the OVC to focus on more basketball focuses schools that may not sponsor football to please Belmont

Since the OVC will be down to 7 football schools and the Southland with just six --- it would also not be a bad idea for the six non-TSU (they have plenty of "classic options") schools in the OVC to play two games vs. the Southland. Would help both tremendously.

The best D2 move up idea/fit to me for the SLC would be West Florida. But they have supposedly been public that they are not interested
