He makes $6 million/year in Sacramento, and he has two years remaining on his contract after this season. If he walked away right now he would be leaving about $14 million on the table. Arizona boosters, who supported Miller and mostly didn't want him fired, aren't going to pay Walton twice what Miller made, which is what it would take to match that Sacramento salary.

Best guess is it will be Stoudamire or Lloyd, unless both turn it down. If UA ends up hiring someone like Jason Terry or Miles Simon, it will be because the top choices shied away from the possibility of major sanctions.

Luke Walton taking an NCAA job without any NCAA experience in the last decade is why Luke shouldn't take the gig. Recruiting and retaining your players is a mess now and those without even recrutiing experience is not good. Luke doesn't have that current recruiting expereince which Juwan had from the parent's perspective.

Juwan Howard had zero college coaching experience before taking over Michigan.
