True, though now that he has the track record and name recognition in the basketball world (along with a presumably big budget for staff and recruiting) he could bring in some legit talent to Norman. If so he could be a force to be reckoned with in the Big 12, if not then it may be a quick stay because OU won't have the patience like Loyola did. He strikes me as the kind of guy who won't get one and dones so he needs to bring in less rated guys to develop and play as a team.

Wonder who Loyola goes for to replace him. A ton of momentum for the program, but LUC doesn't have a ton of resources in general so it'd be very easy for them to slide back into irrelevance like so many other mid majors whose coach is poached. The DePaul hire doesn't excite me much but if Stubblefield brings them up from the basement to even just mere mediocrity it'll make it tougher on them because the local college basketball market is so fractured.
