For UC 2 All American list guys in the secondary in Wiggins and Gardner, starting center Renfro was out sick and didn’t travel, starting RB Doaks was out. None of those were disclosed until right before kickoff.

I’d say guys not playing on both teams was pretty even.

And losing an offensive lineman to targeting early in the game, then being replaced by a guy that had some very costly illegal procedure penalties and gave up several sacks.

But see, that's how you play into the SEC's narrative.
We can't compete with P5's because we don't have the depth that they have. Not a good excuse. I say, you guys competed FINE. Just should have won the game in the last 2 minutes, and everybody who actually watched the game KNOWS it. Just bad judgment on the part of Ritter throwing that pass instead of tucking and running for the first down. A far cry from our loss last year by 2 scores.
