Auburn AD has at least some idea of who they want to hire, and the rest are window dressing to see who else shows interest. Kevin Steele is interesting since he was summarily fired by Dabo Swinney(sp?) from Clemson after a bad loss. Has his record since then caused tolerance?

Auburn will be looking for a "hot splash hire" which probably precludes any rising G5 coach, not just Clark. Since they "rehabbed" Pearl, maybe the former Baylor coach may be on their list.
