Reports emerging that Kennesaw State will join as the 10th member in 2024.

I don't think it's a bad addition. CUSA needs to hedge against losing more members in the future, and having only nine schools wasnt necessarily ideal to begin with. Plus, it gets them into the ATL market and KSU has a large enrollment. Good baseball, also. It makes as much sense as the American adding Charlotte.

A good rival school against nearby Jax. State

I don't how we can say a conference is getting bad when we're part of the reason why they're getting bad. And truth be told they're not that bad football wise and actually will be a better basketball conference than this current version.

Btw, people are also calling the new AAC a dumpster show.

That's not true. Before Clark arrival UAB was one of the doormats of CUSA. And we are part of the demise now because we are leaving the conference which in part is weakening CUSA. Yeah, UAB is doing what is best for UAB but at the demise of CUSA (justified or not).

The perfect analogy is you have two all star kids on a good basketball team. You then remove your two kids from that team and the team replaces them with two less talented players and the team starts to suck. You as the parent of the two all star kids then make the statement "you're glad you removed your kids from that sucky arse team!" It's the same analogy with nine teams leaving CUSA, of course the conference going to slide if they're not able to replace the leaving teams with similar talented teams.

Well, that's C-USA. After this season I wish them well, wash my hands, and walk away without looking back.

Smart addition adding KSU IMHO.

They need to be ready for the day when the Mountain West calls UTEP and NMSU.

The MW may go after the Montana’s and Dakota’s before NMSU and UTEP.
