Former BYU player and local radio host Ben Criddle (https://twitter.com/CriddleBenjamin) says BYU made a counter offer to Washington's invitation--but Washington said no and refused to budge on the ridiculous game terms.

BREAKING: BYU countered University of Washington's proposal to play in Seattle this weekend with an invite to play in Provo, but Washington had to guarantee not to cancel the game.
Washington turned down BYU's offer.

BYU agreed to play the game in Provo.
BYU would allow Fox to televise it & UW could keep all the TV revenue.
UW would need approval from the PAC 12 & BYU would need an approval from ESPN.
BYU would save money by not having to travel.
Didn’t happen unfortunately.

BYU was not supposed to practicing this week. There was no media availability.
Why would BYU call an emergency practice together today (Monday) & tell the players that had already left the state to stand by (that they may have to return for a game this week) if there wasn’t a counter?

College football is a business. Not a charity.
Pac12 looking for charity these days because they lost all their money investing in their own form of science, having their headquarters in San Francisco and paying 10 million dollar bonuses to Larry Scott.
