RE: Scheduling the ACC if Notre Dame were to join
I suspect the ACC would try and add another school if Notre Dame would join, but which team to pick would probably be difficult to assess.

If they went with the 5 permanent rivals for Syracuse I would vote for:
- Pittsburgh
- Boston College
- Notre Dame
- Virgina Tech or Louisville
- Miami

Kind of like the old Big East type schedule.
I liked Notre Dame being in the conference this year and I think it would be a mutual benefit to both.
The benefit to Notre Dame, would be stability of earnings into the future regardless of how the football team does. It would be good for the administrators of Notre Dame to know that their earnings are going to be at a certain level into the future without regards to the NBC TV contract.

As to whether they decide to go with 5 permanent rivals, it would all be dependant on what the North Carolina schools want.
