Indoors is a totally different animal. No way they allow 6,000 right now with COVID running rampant.

Maybe 500 - 2,000

3200 will be the capacity I hear at FedEx Forum.

lol
When football started, there were 1,700 active cases of COVID in Shelby Co with a local positivity rate of 7%. And the Ministry of Health allowed 6,500 fans into LBMS - a vast and OUTDOOR stadium. Fans had to space 12 feet.
Now, there are 3,500 active cases in Shelby Co with a positivity rate of 11%. And they are allowing 3,200 fans into an indoor arena that is one-third the size of LBMS. Fans have to space 6 feet.
And that group just "follows the science", so we're told.
Happy for fans.
But what a joke the SCHD is.

Can you please define your terms? I was wondering about this last night as I listened to some Covid broadcast. They said there have been ~"230,000 covid deaths" (which I highly doubt, but assuming they are correct) in the US, and ~ "11,000,000 positive cases". I did a little quick math and determined that the general public is unnecessarily paranoid. That means that, JUST POSITIVE CASES ALONE - we are not even talking deaths.... that is less than 3% of the population of the US, and the vast majority of those individuals (>97%) recover.

Using your "terms", I take them to mean that 1 million people x .11 = 110,000 cases in Shelby county? Is that what you are saying?

Positivity rate is a metric that is used to report how many people that were tested got positive results. By itself it is a meaningless number...

If 10,000 people get tested and 5,000 are positive, that is a 50% positivity rate
If 10 people get tested and 5 are positive, that is a 50% positivity rate
If I can convince 100 health people to get tested with the 10 people, then there are 5 positive results out of 110 people... so a 4.5% positivity rate.

I think it is generally used as a metric of how bad things are because there are always people with no symptoms that test positive. It's hard to trust, because why would I go test if I have no symptoms and no reason to think I might be infected?
