Matt Brown’s looking mighty good right now. Why would UCA leave a LA/TX league for a southeastern league if Southland schools weren’t on the verge of moving to the WAC?

Not 100% credit. He did say that UCA to the WAC was possible

And, as a football-only member, it is still possible. the A-Sun doesn't have FCS football. So, maybe UCA is considering moving its football program to the WAC; while putting all its other sports in the A-Sun. Augustana could be looking at doing something similar with the Summit as well. Now, if the WAC adds, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, Abilene Christian, Lamar and Southern Utah as full members while adding Central Arkansas and Augustana as Associate footballl members, the WAC would have a 9 member FCS conference. And, a 14 member basketball conference... just following Matt Brown's possible bread crumbs.

The ASun FCS teams plays in the Big South. If you were UCA would you rather play more regional teams in the Big South or play Dixie St and Southern Utah?
