Yea and I think that’s what is intriguing NFL scouts about him. His improvement and his raw talent give him a high ceiling. I think he had a low floor as well, but the potential is clear with his arm strength, size, speed, and leadership wualities.

He'll never play a down in the league, but he is effective for college ball. The NFL relies on skills that are just so rare, much easier and more reliable to stock a college roster up with runners who can complete some simple pass plays. Increasingly, the best HS QBs are signing with MAC type programs where they can develop properly w/o risk of getting benched. Why risk the Burrow treatment? Even Brady had to fight for playing time at Michigan.

Link for the bold? Regarding Brady, all players fight for playing time. Michigan at that time was QB U, so fighting for a job was the norm. QBs to the NFL
