I just watched Willis (QB - Liberty - we know that) throw a 60 yard strike at the combine. The throw was from his 10 to the opposition 30.

That's a good bench mark for a 1st round arm. So a QB who can throw say 50 yards is no slouch.

Willis is a freak! In a draft populated by a bunch of "good" players, I would not be surprised if an NFL GM takes a chance on him in the first round. His upside is incredible.

Say what you will about EMU football, but in the very recent past we have played against Malik, Kenny Pickett and Josh Allen.

Jerry, I'll take a flyer: Willis goes mid-first. He has a chance to be the riser that scouts fall in love with.

If Willis falls far enough through the first round, I can see the Lions taking a chance on him with the 32nd pick.

Agree although I don't think he falls that far.

The question which will be answered in the years ahead: Is Willis a better workout QB than game QB? Can he have great workouts but might struggle in games.

He looked real inaccurate when he was wailing on us in the bowl game
