What I'm really interested in is the 'numbers game' for the 2022 class.

Remember we could lose all of the 'super seniors' and not free up many scholarships for the 2022 recruiting class.

Example (I believe I have this correct).

Bryson Cannon is a 'super senior' - we do NOT gain a scholarship after this season. His scholarship was a 'freebie' didn't count.

OTOH, Hamilton would have been a super senior (scholarship wise at JMU and not counted against their limit) but he counts against our limit as he isn't OUR super senior. He gets the extra year of eligibility but counts as an EMU scholarship player.

Bottom line: Can use the super senior scholarship exemption for YOUR super senior. Not a transfer.

That means the staff needs to carefully count out the number of NEW scholarships being freed up at the end of this academic year.
