Why on earth would the SEC base its schedule on how it impacts Louisville, FSU, and Clemson?

I was actually thinking they'd do a +1 to marry up to the ACC's decision. Those in-state rivalry week games get pretty good ratings.

This year, 3 of the 4 games were in the ACC package. I think the ACC was trying to tease the SEC into joining them with their plus one format and allowed in state road game, but the SEC didn't bite. The SEC loses one game for their TV package, UGA at GT. At this point, it seems likely the ACC's plus one games are going to be very weak matchups with minimum TV value.
