Adding two sports that the WIAC doesn't have in 2021 (baseball excepted), and it's male dominated which it can't afford with fb. How does UWEC add baseball, men's soccer, women's lax, and expand ice hockey roster without cutting a major men's sport?

One way is to --not expand ice hockey. There's no evidence on the table of UWEC raising the profile of their ice hockey program.

Now, they are adding two sports that the WIAC doesn't have that GLIAC does have. So MAYBE they're looking at a move up.

But if they're leaving the WIAC, what *do* they do with their hockey program? It's a long haul to play in Hockey East or Atlantic Hockey. Is there any reason to believe that the CCHA or NCHC wants them?

If you have any links to evidence, I'll listen to that. But you just proclaim things, and you have a track record of proclaiming things that never happen.

It's very very possible that they just plan to grow in Division III.

Quote:The WIAC is screwed by those sport changes. Its possible UWEC wants the Northern Sun, but NSIC members with women's lax go to the GLIAC.
