First A&M, now UCLA, and Billy Clyde is talking about taking his young Tarleton team back to UK. Dude's got connections. Great exposure for Tarleton, and for the WAC.

What are some other games to watch?

This is the kind of scheduling I hope to see fromt he rest of the WAC. Actually, Seattle, UVU and others have scheduled top P5's in the recent past. We just need to knock one off from time to time.

I respect your honesty. Scheduling the likes of Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Northern New Mexico is not going to get us where we want to go as a conference. And I agree, it would really help if we could makes some noise, as a conference, by winning some of these games. But I know one thing for sure: you've gotta schedule it before you can win it. Maybe Tarleton will be the ones to lead the way on this for the WAC. Perhaps BCG is thinking in order to be the best, you have to play the best. Even if they get throttled, his young players will be better off for it when conference play rolls around. NMSU and their big ol' arena won't look so tough after facing A&M and UCLA on the road. Can't hurt for recruiting purposes, either. I like it.

With all due respects we have beat a P5 school every year the past 4 years. #6 ranked ACC Miami, Illinois on the road, Washington State twice of the PAC, Arizona State of the PAC on the road and Mississippi State of the SEC on the Road. All wins. Our losses were in the final possession vs. ranked USC and #2 Kansas on the road so NMSU and are big ol arena would be just fine and still very scary, especially for WAC teams. I'm confident we would throttle A&M and have a very good chance vs UCLA. Of course they will schedule Tarleton. They figure an easy win. NMSU trys to schedule upper echelon teams but they don't want to play us.

Jans did say he's having a hard time scheduling decent teams.
