Why in the world would it be a multi-year phenomenon. Once the vaccine is broadly available and distributed (one would hope no later than mid-year 2021), sports and attendance should return back to normal. A certain percentage of people will continue wearing masks as a norm (as they have done in parts of Asia long before COVID-19), but that's about it.

Seriously, please provide a rationale why things wouldn't return to a new normal with sports and attendance?

It will be gone by mid 2020. Walt!
