I'm gonna hold out on the peer review before I start buying economists analysis on a pandemic. I read some of that paper and it just make sense (I might not be smart enough). So from a period starting from when a region had 25 cumulative deaths the growth rate of deaths fell rapidly within the first 30 days, after this first period of rapid decline the growth rates of daily deaths hovered around zero. Let's look at FL, they hit 25 total deaths on way back on March 26 or so. 30 days after the growth had leveled off to around 30-50 deaths/day where it stayed from about the beginning of April to the beginning of July. Around that time it started to climb until it reached 150-200 deaths per day about a month later then plateaued for two weeks and has been declining since but is still over 100 per day. Does that fit with their findings?
