It seems a little too early for my tastes, we arent going back to the office yet. But, Im willing to give phase 3 a couple weeks to see what happens. Hopefully we have a better outcome than some neighboring states and southern states.

I can understand your take that he shouldn't put a time on it, but he absolutely should put some parameters around it. Otherwise, people like me will continue to believe that he is just drawing things out to affect the election.

Also, things "in the states to our south" are not nearly as bad as you make it out to be. Show me the hospitalization and death numbers that show how bad it is. The time for framing this discussion around numbers of cases or even percentage of positive tests is over, because while case numbers are increasing deaths and hospitalizations nationwide continue to plummet. Also, don't come at me with X city's hospitals are at X% capacity without telling me what percentage they are usually at during the summer months.

I am going to hate myself for reinserting myself into this debate, but I think it is a touch disingenuous to ask someone who mildly disagrees with you to pull out all sorts of data when you toss out the general statement of "things in the state to our south are not nearly as bad as you make it out to be." Where is your recent proof that hospitalizations and deaths are down? Show me where the States to our South are in better shape than they appear on paper.
